Shipping policy
For parts labeled as "on-demand product" we ship orders once production is complete. Shipment date is indicative since some global supply chain delays may occur.
In the case of a production completed before the estimated time, we'll arrange with the customer a prior shipment after contacting them by e-mail and unce they accept an anticipated shipment.
In case of production delays, the customer will be alerted by e-mail with a new shipment estimated time window.
Excluding Italian holidays, we fulfill orders within three (3) business days for "in stock" products.
Once an order has been fulfilled and shipped, a confirmation email with the tracking number will be sent to the recipient. Please note some items may ship separately.
Please note all orders must be inspected within fourteen (14) days of delivery. Any missing products or other shipping errors must be reported to NEMEA within the 14-day timeframe. Errors reported after such time will not be honored. No refunds or replacements will be provided.
EU SHIPPING
- Estimated arrival dates are not guaranteed. Weather delays and other unforeseen circumstances may impact delivery time.
- Whenever possible, please include a standard street address when placing an order. You'll receive an email with shipping information on the date your order ships.
- NEMEA reserves the right to choose the shipper which is most appropriate for the product(s) ordered and require signature confirmation upon delivery. We use SDA for the majority of our shipments.
- We track all of our shipments and digitally confirm delivery at your shipping address. Our responsibility for shipment ends when we have verification from our carriers the shipment has been delivered to your address. If the shipment cannot be found at your delivery location AFTER our carrier indicates it has been delivered, we cannot replace or refund your purchase. The responsibility for shipment is yours once the product(s) have been verified as delivered to your address.
- NEMEA is not responsible for shipments which cannot be delivered after repeated attempts by one of our carriers. It is the customer's responsibility to coordinate with the carrier to receive shipment at a convenient time or place. If the shipment is returned to NEMEA, a restocking fee will be applied before any refund is processed.
EXTRA EU SHIPPING
Customers outside the EU can place orders inqurying NEMEA via e-mail. NEMEA will send them a personalized cart with no-taxes applied.
- The customer agrees to pay any and all customs/VAT charges and is responsible for estimating and covering any VAT, GST, Duty, Tax, handling fees, customs clearance charges and/or other costs associated with the shipment.
- A damage claim due to shipping MUST be made within 24 hours of receipt of the international order. NEMEA will have our international delivery service investigate. The customer agrees to provide full photographic evidence of damage including photos of all boxes and packaging. A new product will be shipped or a refund provided if and only if our international delivery service determines that the damage was caused during shipment AND reimburses NEMEA for that damage.
- Because NEMEA checks each international order to ensure that all items have been included in the shipping box, any claim that items are missing or have been stolen in transit will NOT be honored and no refunds or replacement will be provided, regardless of the circumstances.
If international order is shipped to a freight forwarding service in the E.U. or to a secondary international address which is NOT the residential or commercial address of the customer:
Important: Using a freight forwarder to ship could result in shipping complications including damage, lost merchandise, and difficulty in tracking. NEMEA is NOT responsible for any of these complications. We strongly recommend you do NOT use a freight forwarder.
- The customer agrees to pay any and all customs/VAT charges and is responsible for estimating and covering any VAT, GST, Duty, Tax, handling fees, customs clearance charges and/or other costs associated with the shipment, regardless of the intermediate or final shipping destination.
- Once the shipment is received and signed for by a freight forwarding service in the E.U. or any agent at a secondary address, NEMEA's responsibility for the shipment ends. We will be unable to provide updates on location of the shipment, and we are NOT responsible for any damage that might occur from the time the shipment is received at the freight forwarder or secondary address to the time it arrives at its final destination. In addition, an order processed through a freight-forwarder in the EU is considered an "International Order" and is covered by all of our policies associated with International Orders.
- If the shipment is sent to a freight forwarding service or a secondary international address which is NOT the residential or commercial address of the customer, the customer assumes all responsibility for delivery.
- Because NEMEA checks each international order to ensure that all items have been included in the shipping box, any claim that items are missing or have been stolen in transit will NOT be honored and no refunds or replacement will be provided, regardless of the circumstances.
